NESMUN 2026
The NESMUN conference will take place from 6-7 of November 2026 and will bring together students to represent different countries, discuss important global issues, and take part in debates. The conference is a great opportunity for students to learn more about how the United Nations works and get a better understanding of what it is like to be a diplomat.
In the weeks leading up to the conference, students will spend time preparing by researching their assigned countries and learning more about the topics they will be discussing. Preparing for the conference is an important part of the experience, it helps students understand their country's views and feel more comfortable speaking during debates.
During the conference, students will be divided into different committees, with each committee focusing on specific global issues. Delegates will have the opportunity to share their country's opinions, listen to different points of view, and work with others to find possible solutions. There will be discussions, debates, and opportunities for students to ask questions and respond to each other's ideas. Each committee will also have chairs who will guide the debates, make sure the rules are followed, and help everything run smoothly. Students will get to experience how international discussions work and learn that reaching agreements often involves teamwork, patience, and compromise.
Besides the debates, NESMUN is also a chance to learn from students who may have different opinions and ideas. It is a great way to improve important skills like public speaking, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving in a fun way.
