Congratulations Laura!

On Friday, 26 April, Laura Zeying Du attended the awards ceremony and dinner for finalists in Konkurransen Unge Forskere held by Akademiet for yngre forskere (The Young Academy of Norway). She was one of the 3 first prize winners in the science and technology category for her Physics Extended Essay, “Flight Path Analysis: Modeling the Dyanamics of Badminton Shots with Python”. The ceremony was held at Deichman Bjørvika, and diplomas were awarded by Kronprins Håkon.

Laura won 15.000 NOK and a week at European Space Camp at Andøya Space in northern Norway this summer. She and another first prize winner were invited to attend the International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles in May, but are unable to attend due to IB exams.
