3IB's Trip to Norges Bank!

The 3IB economics class recently took a day-long excursion to Norges Bank (Norway’s central bank). They were very lucky to have this opportunity, being the first Nesbru IB class to have visited since 2019 (because of the pandemic).

The activities consisted of an interactive economic simulation game, where the class would be faced with modern-day economic issues to propose solutions for, in the process of developing one's own economy from scratch. Together as a class, they worked to gain as many points as possible from quiz questions and the outcomes of their economic decisions in the simulation game.

We are proud to announce the class placed first! They outscored every other class to have participated, as well as the previous Nesbru record, by over a 5000 point margin.
