2IB staff lunch

On Wednesday, February 12th, teachers and staff at Nesbru VGS were treated to a well-deserved lunch, courtesy of the school’s 2IB students. Held near the reception, the event aimed to show appreciation for the staff’s hard work while bringing a little extra warmth (and spice) to the school community.

The students prepared a diverse menu featuring hot dishes, fresh salads, and indulgent desserts, creating an inviting atmosphere filled with laughter and satisfied appetites. Some dishes even packed enough spice to bring a few teachers to tears. Though, rest assured, it was the kind of emotional reaction that only truly good food can inspire.

Teachers and staff alike expressed their appreciation for the students’ efforts. “It was a fantastic initiative by our students. One of the best staff lunches that's been organised,” shared one teacher.

A 2IB representative reflected on the purpose behind the event: “We wanted to give back to the staff while also raising funds for our CAS projects. The money collected will go towards activities that benefit both the school and the wider community.”

The event was met with enthusiasm, and both students and staff hope to see similar gatherings in the future!
