Staff lunch March 2022

On the 9th of March 2022, the 2IB students hosted a lunch for the teachers and staff at Nesbru. Set up outside the teachers’ lounge, each teacher/staff member could pay a fee to help themselves to the plethora of dishes made by the 2IB students.

Seeing as the goal of these staff lunches is to fundraise for a good cause, all of the funds raised were donated to The Red Cross Organization’s efforts to raise funds to further the emergency humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. The decision to donate to this specific charity was made after Putin’s invasion of Ukraine on the 24th of February 2022, which forced many Ukrainian civilians to flee their homes or face imminent death.

In total, the 2IB students raised 9850kr. We hope to be able to host another staff lunch soon, and that it will be as successful as this one!
